Review:
I had been on JapanCupid on and off for 3 years and FINALLY met my match, my awesome husband! He's Japanese, I'm Puerto Rican. We married June 3,2009. I will hopefully be able to join my husband soon after all the Immigration stuff gets squared away. It's amazing how I was in Japan 3 years,come back home and found my sweetie ^_^


I actually was about to turn off my profile,when he came along and it all started from there. Believe me, kissed alot of frogs before I got my prince. So I think it takes time to find someone special. Like the song says ''you can't hurry love''.

Review:
I was a member on POF for around 3 months, in that time I found no girls who interested me in more than friendship, but found plenty of clingy average looking girls who were getting way too serious far too quickly (without even meeting me). One was even talking about marriage. It also seems to have a high number of single mothers, so if that isn't your thing maybe its not the best site for you, At best the majority of girls on the site are average looking and seem to think that joining a dating site means that they'll find a poster boy - so if your only average looking you might struggle (but that is the same with any dating site). The vast majority of good looking girls tend to be fakes (ie men, not so pretty women hiding their true identity, or way of date pictures).

After 3 months my account was deleted with absolutely no warning or reason given. I had done nothing wrong on there and been normal and friendly with everybody. I tried re-registering a few times but my account kept getting deleted after 24 hours. I was a bit annoyed as I now have no way of letting a number of contacts know what has happened. But this site is also very sexist. Why do I say that? As a man I had to wait 2-3 days for my profile to get approved. A female friend of mine joined the site and received immediate approval, after registering her profile was public. Anybody make sense of that?

They have now introduced an Upgrade package which you have to pay for. All this does is adds a gold star on your profile to apparently show that you are a genuine person looking for a relationship. Perhaps a good idea, but its been flawed from the start as POF gave out the gold stars to a large number of women for free (I know three girls who suddenly found that they had become gold members). So you can't rely on that system, despite their boasts about it.

This site was previously more active than in 2009. I met and dated a man through this site in 2006, but on returning in 2008, it has been a lot less active.

Pros:
It is reasonably priced.

Cons:
Both parties must be active members to send AND read e-mails.

i like goingthere sometimes but it,s addictive.,
and i keep coming back i just really feel it,s not for me i need someone i can really be there for me i don,t care if it,s friends or whatever i don,t need a person thay act one way and act another way i really don,t need that right now but can get alone with certain peeps there that r cool with me but not all of the may be a few has me blcoked just because they r azz hoes
two women.

the only thing that i don,t get why all the japanese women?
what make them soo special? and portugese women? no black women don,t have a chance there if they want a relation with a japanese guy that out of the question or not in there catorgorie japanese guys even american guys looks for japanese women...... i ready just not go there anymore it,s really a waste of time!!!!!

Review:
I'm new to online dating, but I decided to join a site, as so many friends had met their partners this way. I decided on youand.me because it was free and easy to use. Fantastic site. It just launched, but you can tell the founders and management staff really put their heart into the site.

I did join 2 other sites, but youand.me is my favorite, even though it has less than 50,000 members. It is growing fast. I spend as much time on the site as I do on FaceBook.

i really like japancupid but it,s like the men only comes there for japanese women only like there no other women beside japnese women there, i am there also but no one don,t want me or interested in me like the one i really like .

Pros:

jaanese women seem to be smart on how to catch a man or is ithe the site the service behinde japancupid got something they not being honest about.?

Cons:

i been on Japancupid for aleast 2 yrs now and i have someone that i am very interesting in he someone that,s different,
someone who makes me laugh but he just a people person i been knowing him for a yrs now at first we was very close butand i felt if we can get any close as far as meeting eachother i think it will work.

Pros:
i have swa him on cam we talk on the phone before more than three times so i feel we know each other characteristics enough to meet but right now he just want remain friends but my feelings got involve i don,t know why or what really up with this site but i have a feeling this site is not legit.

Cons:
the reason is because when i ask for help they give me the same thing over and over like when u can,t get back into chatroom it takes like 20 to 30 minutes to get back into chatroom and the times outs i don,t like especially when i,m in a middle of a coversation.
