when you write to some people,they write back to you appearing to code an email address to write them at.I opened 2 windows,1 for the profile with the email,and 1 to write the email.as fast as i could click send on the email and switch windows to the profile,it was cancelled.also,on another occassion,two completely different people sent me a "coded" email with the SAME EXACT email address to reply to even though they lived 20 miles from each other.profile deleted upon email too.

I just wanted to add something to my earlier review. If you look at the site's terms and conditions, once you upload a photo you grant them approval to use your image however they like. One way they state they can use your image is to "pre-populate" an online dating site. If this isn't evidence that they create "fake" profiles I don't know what is. They are creating a profile for you on a dating site you might not even be a member of, or have signed up with.

Cons:
Fake profiles
Unscrupulous site operators
Questionable privacy policies
Expensive
Waste of money

I have been a member (free, not paying) for about 4 years now. I usually go to the chatroom which free members can get into once they receive a message from a paying member. I have made many Japanese friends and even dated an American guy I hit it off with from the site for over a year. The past year and a half I have been distance dating a wonderful Japanese man I met on the site. We got engaged on Children's Day (May 5th) during my visit. Most of the American guys (or actually any gaijin men) I see on the site act really poorly by any woman's standards and certainly are not datable material. I would have to agree with one of the guys that posted a comment here that the men who complain probably fall into the category of undesireable. There are many fake profiles I have witnessed first-hand in the chatroom. But that might be common on any site. The thing to remember is that JapanCupid is a forum for meeting people. It is not a mail order bride site. There is never any guarentee anywhere at anytime that a person will find their soulmate and it is even more unlikely on a dating site where distance dating is involved. Just be realistic about it and understand that distance dating is more difficult than most people can imagine.

Pros:
A wonderful forum to meet Japanese people and share language exchange. In the chatroom all members can use web cam and mic to prove they are not fake and just have good conversation.

Cons:
Since it is open to practically anyone there are some very mean and rude people. And fake profiles occassionally.

It is a niche dating and support site, not a social site. So, you can not expect it is completely free.

1. It is free to create a profile and do a quick search.
2. It is free to reply to emails and instant messages from upgraded members.
3. It is free to post at the forum and blog area. By the way, their blog is very active.
4.You can get a refund for your payment later if you are not satisfied with the service.
5. You can delete your profile. It seems neil did not find the link.

Ok so I am a guy on one of the sugar daddy websites.. I have a good job, drive a good car, motorcycle and rent my own apt.. I am not a millionaire but make enough to treat a girl out for dinners, movies, bars etc.. What I want in exchange? - that she hangs out with me and we have some good time together! A serious relationship, sex or anything else would not cross my mind the very first time I meet her! .. I am 25 .. tall and good looking .. However, if you expect me to pay her bills, tuition, rent, shopping etc that's not going to happen ... some "millionaires" could afford to do that but it's unlikely that you find a REAL millionaire on these sites coz i guess they have their own network to get real girls to hang out with them.. I agree that if men are just using women for a one night stand in exchange of dinner, that's not right but the girl has to be smart enough to figure whose right and whose wrong ... the main reason I am on the SD website is coz my work place does not have too many women and since I am a professional working in a male dominant industry, it's hard for me to get access to nice girls ... Guys like me really look forward to meeting genuine girls but also girls who're nice and not just gold diggers!

As one financially well off, I think that marriage and abuse of divorce laws produce the biggest gold diggers in the world. There is no bigger gold digger than a married woman. Better for the rich to avoid monogamy or marriage at all costs. I would rather go for a sugar babe with known costs than give a lien on my wealth to a wife with unknown costs and potentially wealth damaging divorce actions.

Also marriage these days don't last long anyway with huge penalties for the man to leave it, so better to go in for arrangements.
